Change is possible when we all work together.
Angelica and her family moved to Arizona from California a few years ago and didn’t have any family, friends or other support network here. In addition, they knew very little about banking and finances. Thanks to the VSUW-supported financial literacy program at Golden Gate Community Center, Angelica and her family members have opened bank accounts, started saving money and she and her husband are currently shopping for their first home. Angelica is one of the best examples of how individuals can get on the path to financial self-sufficiency simply by having the right knowledge and tools.
