September is National Hunger Action Month and Valley of the Sun United Way partners are mobilizing support to fight against hunger in Maricopa County. Now through September 30, join United Way partner agencies as they raise awareness of food insecurity and work to end hunger in our community. Last year, Valley of the Sun United Way-supported agencies provided 98,000 meals in community kitchen settings, 142,000 home-delivered meals and over 61 million pounds of food to area food banks and food pantries.
